MORTUARY SERVICE TREND

In order to gain more in-depth knowledge about the current mortuary business and different ways of memorialization as well as the trend in the field, the class visited a local funeral home and interviewed the Aftercare Coordinator.

Two interviews were conducted in order to understand people's opinions towards the current funeral forms as well as their wishes about the ways they desire to be memorized after passing away.

Although people have very different experiences in their lives, there are some common regrets of the dying, according to is an Australian palliative nurse Bronnie Ware.

1. Having the courage to live your own life.

Mourn and remember in the absence of traditional funerals

Assist the loved ones of the deceased to carry on the wishes from their late relative/friend

Puzzle activities provide the family of the deceased the opportunity to come together to mourn and remember the loved one. The visualized story will show when all the tasks are accomplished and the pieces are put together.
